Hey Leute,

ich bin super angekommen in Australien! Ich wohne bei meiner total netten Gastfamilie in einem Vorort von Brisbane, der aussieht wie aus einem Hollywoodfilm. Alles super ordentlich hier, die Autos sind wirklich groß (aber generel überall), viele Spielplätze und seehr viele Jogger!

Der Himmel hier ist toal anders, irgendwie höher und leuchtender. Es gibt viele exotische Vögel, die wirklich interessant aussehen und klingen. Es gibt wirklich viele Dinge die ganz anders sind, aber sehr schön anders, sodass man sich gerne umgewöhnt!

Und wirklich wunderschön ist Brisbane! Wir brauchen ca 40min mit dem Zug ins Zentrum. Dort gibt es die Queen's Street mit vielen tollen Läden und außerdem kann man schnell zu Fuß nach Southbank laufen. Dort gibt es die Laguna, wo man schwimmen und sich sonnen kann - wenn man dort ist hat man das Gefühl im Urlaub zu sein. Überall ist Musik und es riecht gut, alle Menschen lachen, sind entspannt und genießen die Sonne. Die scheint eigentlich (bisher) immer, ab und zu sind mal ein paar Wolken aufgezogen, aber die gingen auch schnell wieder weg.

Ich glaube das meiste Geld werde ich für Essen, Züge und Reisen ausgeben, aber vor allem für Essen! Haha. Es ist unglaublich was es hier gibt. In Southbank sind so viele Restaurants - so tolle, leckere! Es gibt Mexikanische, Organische, Burger, Chinesisch (Dumplings!!)... und und und. Aber das beste sind die Schokoladenläden. Alles ist mit oder aus Schokolade (wie bei max Brenner - siehe Bild) und schmeckt einfach unglaublich lecker.

Hey guys,

I have arrived very well in Australia. I live with my very nice and friendly host family in a lovely suburb of Brisbane, which looks like taken from a Hollywood movie. Everywhere it is really clean and tidy, the cars are really big (all-around) , many playgrounds and lots and lots of joggers.

The sky is really different here, kind of higher and brighter. There're also many exotic birds, which look and sound really interesting.. Many things are really different here, but beautiful, so that it's great to experience this change.

And Brisbane really is beautiful! It takes us round about 40min by train to Central station in the centre of Brisbane. Queen Street is the central shopping area and has a lot of great shops. From there it is only a short walk to Southbank on the other side of the Brisbane River. In Southbank they have an incredible laguna, including a real beach, where you can swim and enjoy the sun - feels like holiday!

From everywhere you hear music and it smells fantastic, everybody is smiling, relaxed and they enjoy the sun. Sun is mostly shining, sometimes there were a few clouds, but they left as fast as they came.

I think I'll spend the most money for food, trains and journeys, but especially for food. Haha. It's unbelievable how many different things are here. In Southbank there are so many restaurants - so great and yummy!! There're Mexican, organic, burger, Chinese (dumplings!!!) and and and... But the best are the chocolate cafes. Everything is with or made from chocolate (like Max Brenner - photo) and taste unbelievable yummy!!
